January Favorites

Favorite Products of the Month: January

This month has flown by! As cliche as it sounds, I can't believe it's already been a full month in 2016. January was full of fun times, being with friends, dancing, and celebrating my birthday.

Anyway, I don't want to make you read a novel, so I'm just going to get into the favorites of January.

1. Farylrobin x Free People boots

These have been my favorite shoes this month. I have probably worn them almost every day. I like that they are versatile and can go with a variety of looks, yet they still add some interest to any outfit. Plus, they are supportive and are comfortable, which for me, is a must!

2. MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in "Politely Pink"

I have been wearing "Politely Pink" almost everyday this month. It is the perfect everyday shade. If I am not wearing a bold lip, this is my go-to lipstick. It is semi-sheer, so it appears very natural. It is creamy and moisturizing so applying a lip balm before this is not needed. This is currently my third tube of this shade so if that doesn't tell you it's one of my favorite lipsticks, I don't know what will!

3. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in "Chantilly"

This is the best concealer I have tried so far. It truly is creamy just like its name says and barely creases. Its applicator is easy to use, and when I use a damp sponge to blend it, it looks flawless. I use "chantilly," which is the lightest shade (shocker) to brighten my face and cover my bags.

4. Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray

I love this setting spray! There is a regular version too, but I use the oil-free one, and it helps my makeup stay all day. It is not a harsh product, so my skin has not experienced any sensitivity to it thus far, and it does not make my skin feel greasy or wet. I use the small size so I can bring it on-the-go.

5. Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara

I have used this mascara almost everyday of January. It lengthens my lashes and makes them appear fuller. My main concern with mascara is that it will apply or appear clumpy, but this mascara does not. While it does lengthen, it still makes my lashes look semi-natural, so I would not recommend this product if you want very dramatic lashes, but overall, it is a great mascara.

6. Coconut Oil

Many people think a moisturizer has to be complex or expensive to work, but $8.99 pure coconut oil from Target proves otherwise. I bought this because my skin was appearing flaky and felt very dehydrated, and this fixed that. Since I started using coconut oil almost everyday, I have noticed a difference in my skin and have seen it improve. This product will stay in my daily skincare.

7. Pom Pom Keychain

I have loved these furry keychains this month. I purchased the white keychain awhile ago, but this month I purchased more online. They just add the perfect touch to bags. I have one on my keys, one for my backpack, and some for my other handbags. I'm obsessed!

That is all for this month, but I have included some links if interested in these products.
And remember to add your email below for updates on when I post!
